Over 6 years at Westcountry Rivers Trust (WRT), I concieved, designed and project managed the development of the Fish PAss app.
The language of tokens
As much as rigid, geometric design guides offend me, the system that Fish Pass was replacing had its own currency of 'tokens' and the circle became hard wired into the graphical language.
The final logo became a token in itself. A nod to the cliche 'leaping trout' of every other eNGO logo out there, but the simplicity and clarity to work as an app icon, favicon and token.
